Stuck [03/06/14]
Dragging me under
There's no where to hide
The lights they flicker
But all I hear is the ride
Breathe in slowly
Release it quick
Short tiny gasps
Under the dirt so thick
The tears that fall
The end dragging near
Scream a little louder
Maybe someone will hear
The oxygen gets thinner
The longer I'm stuck
I don't know what happened
What is this muck
Stuck six-feet under
I've lost myself again
Break the top, dig through the grave
Until I feel as though I can breathe
Somehow this tunnel
Never seems to end
But somehow I hope
The time will cause it to mend
Mend the scars I've created
Fix the broken pieces
If there's anything left to fix at all
I don't understand, where did I go wrong
Wrong on the direction?
Did I take too many pills?
Now here I lay,
Stuck beneath these hills.
