    Poem Commentary

This poem came about from desire to win chess games more than I do.

    The Chessmans Prayer

    Two chessman went to church.
    Two chessman whent to pray.
    Praying for the winning move.
    They went to church today.

    Later on the game.
The game they want to play.
    One to be the winner.
    The other to go away.

    Underneath the breath.
    I almost heard them say.
If i may be the winner.
    Lets play another day.

    When we have the re-match.
The game may go your way.
    You may be the winner.
The player that gets to stay.
    Chessman of the week.
    Player of the day.
Lets go to church and pray.
