    Poem Commentary

I wrote this poem, after watching Viking films.

    The Warriors Speach

    The big and macho warrior.
    With worrying bulk and size.
    Filled lungs to chest expansion.
    With gluttony, in his eyes.
Slammed fist upon the table top.
    The people they all arise.
No one starts to argue, or he`s the one that dies.

The speach is made from valour.
    The warriors tongue does say.
Now we have won the battle.
And managed to save the day.

But soon the fighting starts again.
Other`s desire to be the best.
Take time and have your rest.
The enemy will return some day.
Of that i do not jest.

The battle we take on next time.
Could end in horror and pain.
The commitments we defend, must never be in vein.

For what we fight with all our pride.
    And gladly true defend.
    The lands to us rendered.
The lands that god gave us.
The lands our gods did send.
