The Darkness
Only the darkness clad the sky
Everywhere in front of me
No beautiful sunlight
Now can I see
Not even a little glimmer of hope
Only that which is evil
And the coldness of the wind
Sending the most piercing chill
Will the sun ever shine
For me again?
Or is this all for me
And I'm left only to pretend?
Only dark clouds above do I see
Ever so frightful and bleak
But my beautiful rays of sunshine
Is what I truly do seek
Maybe it will soon rain
And take the darkened clouds away
The darkest nights will be no more
Instead the sun once again will brighten my day
So I'll wait for this day
When all this will come
But my wait may be forever
Because it only comes for some
