    ::The Experience #8::

I asked the Lord for a sign
I knew he would answer in due time
I ask my friend for some guidance
As soon as I met Mary, the beginning commenced
I began to see the light
An image appears in my sight
Around the corner your sign shall be
On the wall, for only you to see
The Lords answers were very unclear
Most of the writing was ruined by smears
He told me to open my ears
That he didn't want to see anymore tears
He said that my purpose was in front of my face
Those fruit I speak of, I would soon taste
Walk your path with poise and grace
No need to run, no need for haste
The more i saw Mary the more my knowledge grew
I could see which direction the wind blew
I see the road ahead of me, I'm in for a bumpy ride
No need to worry with Mary on my side
The more I read, The more I understood
I know there was reason why i did good
The Lord told me to stop the slacking
    No more violence, stop attacking
The Lord told me to accept my life for what it was
    Don't make excuses just because
I know there is reason for what he does
I know his actions are filled with love
With time I could become something great
Get another chance with a clean slate
I'm up for the challenge, what ever it takes
I'm ready for the man this will make
Mary has been helpful in finding my purpose
Comes in large quantities, but rarely a surplus
Sometimes I feel like I'm in a circus
Balance on rope, thin lines i don't trust
I haven't spoken to the lord in quite some time
It's like trying to talk to a mime
His way of word is though his actions
You must be patient, observe the motions
He tells me to live without regret
Or permanent frown my face will be set
Live for today, never look back
Don't worry about what you lack
Keep him in your thoughts and close to your heart
He'll never leave you, been there from the start
It's time for Mary and I to have meeting
    No need for formal greeting
Smell of mint in the air
Close the entrance to my lair
Into her burning eyes I stare
I give a gentle kiss, she doesn't care
Looks like i set off a flare
Stop it with that infernal glare
The Lords writing reaches the floor
Be prepared for whats in store
    Things you've never felt before
Your purpose lies within your core
I wish he would have written a little more
I'll be waiting for your encore
