The Window's 2 Her Soul (It's in her eyes)

Look through the windows to her soul
And you’ll find all you want to know
And though she’ll never speak a word
Because her eyes speak the unheard

Look through the windows to her soul
You’ll see love's twinkles lost their glow
You’ll never have to wonder why
There is no luster to her eye

Look through the windows to her soul
    You’ll see a heart that’s grown cold
Where once love’s sparkles were displayed
Until her tears washed them away

It’s in her eyes (it’s in her eyes)
It’s no disguise (there pain resides)
Just realize (how much she cries)
It’s in her eyes (it’s in her eyes)

INDEED!! I couldnt' agree more. Eyes show more than words can speak. Life has such a hidden dimension, beyond the surface. Yet ironically, it reveals itself right before our eyes. We have but to see it. Smooth cadence in the end. It painted a perfect ending.

I love and relate to this poem so well. I lost my dgtr to cancer at age 24. It's torn my heart so deeply and must show in my eyes even though I try to go on. Our words can speak the outer things in our life, but the eyes can not hide the deep pain from inside. You have a special insight and meaning to share with other who can relate to what you write. Thank you & God bless

NOTHING COLDER THAN THE FREEZER OF A FADING LOVE. GOOD WAY OF GETTING YOUR POINT ACROSS

I was feeling that tryin to read & see what else you saw, but it ended...Short & sweet!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
