To die inside

To die inside

It’s not as bad as you would imagine

After all your tears are gone and there’s not a single soul left for you to confide

Slowly your lifeless soul begins to waste away into nothing, nothing at all

After all the agonizing pain and misery of the shity life you were forced into

You begin to urn for relief, something anything to end the suffering of your secret pain

At first the high- the secret escape is the perfect solution from feeling so blue

The rush of numbness that you are suddenly thrust into

Finally, to once again have power and control over your mind, body, and emotions

To finally have authority over the eternally tormented brothel you call the keeper of your soul

At any given time to have dominate power, the power to murder the assailant of your soul, to slowly slit the throat of your tormenting emotions

In a virtual reality at the climax of your high the numbness of death isn’t a frightening burden but a blessing, a comforting familiar friend

But like any high, inevitably you will fall from the heavens; fall so hard the brimstones of hell are ravishing the remains of your lifeless soul

After the numbness of your dying soul doesn’t go away your soul becomes a sea of confusion, a deep depression

When you feel nothing inside but cold, to feel like a stranger to your own body, it all begin to take a toll

To die inside is to be condemned to eternal suffering, to be inevitably dammed!
