Today My Friend Said It All had to End
And so another friend is lost
My friend doesn’t want to share my life
She said “…one-on-one” is all she wants
Not to be social with my friends too
And still my heart so grieves a loss
A tearful goodbye, I said today
‘cause you didn’t want to share me…
With no other friend and child of Christ
You would not so sacrifice
Though we prayed aloud, you & I
You screamed, spat and you cried
But your tears were not of sadness
No, such as were just jealous rage
You said you couldn’t do it,
Ah hah, but was it worth the cost?
