    True Love

I will not let us drift apart
And I would never break your heart
    I hope you can see
That your the only one for me

No matter what we go through
    My feelings won't change
    We could go through everything
And the way I feel about you won't change.

    It's now Valentine's Day
    And I love you dearly
What we where going through at first was blurry
Now its clear we have no fear

We want to be together for the rest of our lives
    Even though we fight
We still love each other to death
    Even when we die.

I get the sense of determination....and yet not its passion. Are you writing about a love had or one you hoped to have. I don't feel the person of your desire. Maybe he is just imagined. X

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
