    TWO SIDES

    Bury me,

    Trash me

    Look down upon me

    Love me

    Hate me

Never explain a word to me

    Handcuff me

    Untie me

    Fight over custody

    Use me

    Discard me

    Lay down beside me

Can you see the real me?

    See anything?

    Does it mean anything?

    Cut me

    Slash me

Cut the heart out of me

    Uplift me

    Waste me

Wipe up the floor with me

    Burn me

    Please me

Find a way to keep me

    Spit on me

    Clean me

    Make you rely on me

Can you see the real me?

    See anything?

    Keep looking

    Keep looking

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
