    Unforgiving Line

    What were you looking for?
    It was not me; for you made that plain to see:
    How could your love be so blind,
    Why are you so very unkind?
    Totally devoted to you I've been,
    Now you have committed the worst of sins.
    Just how could you do this to me once more;
    Now I can never trust like before.
    I wish I could wake from this terrible dream
    And be back in your arms, your forever queen.
    But you have crossed the unforgiven line
    So now we have to leave US behind;
    Just look at what you've done,
    All for a cheap thrill that you called fun:
    I sure hope it was worth it,
    Hope you had a good time,
    Cause now you see baby;
    vengeance is MINE...

    Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
