    Until The Time Comes

When we were physically side by side,
    All pain and sorrow died,
    We never cried,
    And we never lied,

When we saw each other each day,
Every problem of the day went away,
We always knew the right things to say,
And we learned to hold everything at bay,

    When we were alone,
We had love to be shown,
As our emotions together they were sown,
But now we're left with only a phone,

No matter how far away I may be,
    I am still with you,
Even if sometimes you can't see,
I'm still there in your heart where you are in me too,

I remember the memories we had,
And I know theres more to come,
But this is only temporary to avoid my dad,
Until I can come back; Until the time has come.

It feels like the ending came a little early, primarily because I want to hear more. I think this has much more potential and could be flushed out a little more.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
