The nights wind breezes through the trees
A mist of dreary wonder, moments yet to be seized

Nights of endless pleasure, the nights we amiss
Make the moments we lost, much harder to list

Deep in the darkness, beyond the bleak and dreary night
Wonders what lies beyond this illusional sight

Thunder crashes in the distance, as the rain begins to pour
The wind continues to howl, in a voice that demands more

The troubles of once was, seems a faded past
The night evaded and removed them alas
