You Are The Rain

You Are The Rain

You are the rain that washes these tears from my face
The purest rain cleansing me thoroughly from disgrace
When I'm filled with despair and my life's a down slope
You rained upon my head showers that gave me hope

You are the rain allowing me to relenquish mental strain
It was Your Miraculous Healing that took away my pain
Heavenly rain may be described as God's Holy Tears
It is Holy and Heavenly and surely removed all my fear

I pray for more rain to put an end to the deadly fires
I pray that non believers be transformed and inspired
Rain on the lands that are experiencing driest drouts
Rain on mankind impaired with sin beyond all doubts
