    You

    I see you, you move
I shy away you move closer.
    I breathe deep
    You breathe deeper
    I shuffle you hide.
    I smell you, you look
    I find your smile.
    I sing and you listen
    I join and you fade.
    I want and you lack
    I ask then you question.
    I anger then you humble
    I pass then you react.
    I kiss then you smile
    I don’t then you reframe.
    I kneel then you stand
    I stand then you walk.
    I’m there
    Then you’re not
    I look then you hide.
    I reach then you pull
    I love then you don’t.
    I ask then you enigma
    I answer and you won’t.
    I hope then you dream
    I try then you deny.
Yet we are all at once each other.
