A Blurred Conversation

we were having
a blurred conversation
hearts a'calving
too carefully

came that chance
to run from monsters
yet we chose to dance
to the secret of the sea

leaving us in tatters
of that we tathered
but when you're in love
nothing else matters

Spoken like one who knows how blind love is. Logic and love often dont accompany one another, another beatiful piece of your heart spilled out onto this one..

I like this a new take on the love poem and yes we have to jump while the iron is hot . Thanks for the read Marie

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
