God

in empty silence
my tears fall
a cold embrace
slips down the hall
did my master
forget about me
to be the source
of an elegy
where tales grow
myth awakes
the abandoned don't know
there're no mistakes
layers of beauty
in a new day's dawn
night is the lady
to light's brawn
this self-portrait
with you in mind
how could you leave me
blind

Insideme commented on God

This is too good, it is a sin you havent won a contest but then again most of the best go unnoticed.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
