    A Dream

A dream beside a placid pool, water pulsating in a rhythm fashioned after a childhood lullaby. A mirror of perfect calm reflects all and tells nothing, for it to must answer someday.

Gentle blue green ripples align themselves with the boundaries assigned them. It is a still hour, all is quiet except for the faint trickle of a far away stream.

The perfect loneliness, nature without humans, love without devotion, unity without surrender. Promises uttered to an understanding wind, to be carried by leaves until the chill of autumn plucks them from their nest.

One cannot stay here forever, and since time must race with me again, I have to leave my prize.

Whenever I return, the feelings and the thoughts will still be there waiting for me.

My unceasing yet silent friends, and my special and endeared dream.

Ummm... yes, very nice. You've captured a "stillpoint" with the universe.

your poeltic imagery sets the mood very well

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
