    Forever

Another day, and the mist of a thousand suns glow brightly with the arrival of dawn.

Clouds full of distressing creatures float by on a gentle breeze.

In the darkened caverns, snakes crawl unyielding, parading in the damp rocks.

This is unceasing life, the way our ancestors left it for us. Any attempt to change our pattern results in imbalance.

High above us, our expectations shiver in the frigid thin air, do we dare to face them, or let the go beyond us into the night?

The warmth now fades, and we run to find shelter among the animals.

The dark holds new mysteries from our sight.

The curtain now closes on this world, shutting out another period of encounter, and paving the way for forever.
