    • It's been a few years since I've checked in..... Looking forward to reading and writing on here again.

    a glimpse

Our eyes connected from a distance,
all senses were dulled in that instant,
    instantly I understood the oneness,
    of existence.
    No words were necessary,
    silence serenaded me,
    with songs of bliss.
    Suddenly,
    The sounds of speech,
    rocked me back to sleep.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
