a rhyme or something like it

    softly sweet

    are you to me

    you never see

    my muddy feet

    but see, instead

    what's lovely there

    beneath my hair

    inside my head

    I need no mask

    or veil or slip

    you see the imp

    and take to task

    my ways to test

    every peace

    this onary beast

    you put to rest

    No one breathes

    not one but you

    who loves me true

    and never leaves.......

very nice. wish there was more. keep writing!!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
