and she was a little terrorist

I always felt just a little off
    not quite at ease
    with myself, or anyone else
    just a little too aware
of all the manuvering around me
    finding more truth
    in what was left unsaid
than the words that were spoken to pacify
afterall, it's what we don't say
    that telegraphs our fear
    in the undercurrent of conversation
    neon letters scrawled out
    if only we could see
    if only we could say
what no one wants to hear
    if only we could face
    what's hiding under the rug
    If only I could feel
    like one emotion was real
    one sentiment unforced
one gift given that wasn't dripping with reparition
if only, I didn't feel like a threat to your make believe

let me set your mind at ease. you're a wonderful person. enjoy who you are. the saying is... those who mind dont matter and those who matter dont mind. celebrate because there is only one you. very nice poem.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
