AFTER THE TEARS

  • There is too much loss to not appreciate your children. Our lives are only barrowed if just for a minute.

AFTER THE TEARS

she cries everyday, and hurts everyday
for the child that was taken from her.
some people say she went crazy that day,
and now she dont make a stir.
she sits in her room alone in her gloom ,
and wonders what could've been.
day after day, and tear after tear
she won't let anyone in.
reality seems so far away, it's hard to face another day
denial seems to ease her pain, it keeps her from going completely insane.
all her smiles she has to feign, she dont want them to see her pain.
if she admitted to someone that something was wrong,
she'd be admitting to herself that her child was gone.
