    Already Gone

    I told you the truth
and you threw it in my face
    laughing inside
    But what you don't know
    is that you jurt me.

I thought that because we were so close
and could tell each other everything
you would be happy that I told you.

I out my feelings out there
and put my heart on the line
but you ripped it in two
and threw it to the side.

    I don't know why I even thought I had a chance.

So I'll pick up what's left of my pride
    and leave you alone.

But when you realize you want what you had
    It will be too late
    And I'll already be gone.

girl, me and you need to talk. seriously, we might have more in common than you think. reading all your poems. I can relate to almost all of them. its about time you have a friend who can understand you the way you want to be understood. I'm here for you buddy, and always will be.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
