And those who desire

Poem Commentary

this i just thought up.

And those who desire

night, itself begins to brighten every hour.
soon, the sun's light will uncover all
and all will be seen,
and all will be heard
so as the sky turns blue
each eye is new
and as of now, each body is busy
changing and fixing the world
jobs, and less jobs
are spread around
for each curious and desperate cheek
making its way to your office
begging, and pleading for a job
any of course
because its hard times, and jobs are scarcless
and people begin to worry,
panicking with fear of no home, or shelter to rest their tired heads upon
as each helpless victim lays on the sidewalk,
the ones who walk over the knees
are the ones who are known as the busybodies
the ones who have work,
and with a home, and shelter to lay their tired head upon
they walk all in unicine
like robots burning fuel as each foot presses against the pavement
with their briefcases
and suits
,ties and coffee
all travelling to one place
or desitnation,
because they too, need to make a living
and they too need shelter to lay upon
one by one
walking , and walking
walking their busybodies home
to the smells of numerous foods, including the occasional dessert
licking their lips with delight, and satisfaction.
as those who are helpless still lay, on the cold, dark pavement
wishing and desiring for a bite,
just one
of the sweet life
to feel important
to feel new,
new in a suit and tie,
walking in unicine with the rest
on your way to one destination,
holding your briefcase in hand
as the day has ended
and you are tired, and hoping foods awaiting
and as each suit is hung, and each tie is pressed,
those who desire
wait patiently for the chance
the chance to wear your life
one bite,
just one
of the sweet life.
now, as the day begins again, each light flickers on,
and they notice that every suit is gone,
and every tie is with it
and those who desire
decide to act,
act
and act as those who all walk in unicine,
one by one,
living the sweet life,
as they know it
