my lioness

Poem Commentary

so what do you think?

my lioness

I'm the light to your sun,
and I'm the moon to your night.
I'm always there,
when the time is right.

stop your endless lies,
and stand up.
stand up to it.
don't be afraid to speak,
just let the words flow a bit.

be brave,
a lioness,
show your fangs,
embrace your mane.

be that ferocious beast within,
forget your weak being.

for that is only a mask,
waiting to be taken off,
for it isn't Halloween anymore,

no need to pretend,
unmask your inner lion and roar.

come out little sun,
and light my ways.
don't be shy,
just come out for the night.
shine your moonlight on my face,
as guidance,
with grace.

be my protector,
and shield me from the danger,
for you are my lioness,
with no fear just anger.
