As A Woman

As A Woman

As a woman, I dream of a man; a man who understands the nature of my feminine power and ever-present intuition.

As a woman, I look for a man who realizes his own masculine strength, his warrior within and the mystical artist in his soul.

As a woman, I search for my Yang, to complete what nature created as the female form, my opposite, my polarity, my other half, my soul mate.

As a woman, I notice the way a man looks into my eyes, holds my hand, caresses my hair, and above all treats me with respect although our views may differ.

As a woman, I give of myself thoroughly by my unending dedication and my desire to build a haven for my loved one in our home as well as in my heart. As a woman, I search for the same.

As a woman what I offer has no monetary value, for I give it freely since true love needs nothing in return, for it is enough in itself.

As a woman, my energies, my gentle touch, my support, my attentive cheer, my compassion and respect are my priceless gifts to this man.

As a woman, the man who captures my body, soul, commitment and devotion is a man who is not afraid of what he cannot fully comprehend, control or possess.

As a woman, my love can only survive in a space where there is freedom for growth, for change, where our spirits can duel. Love can only continue where there is constant flow of life, it can only blossom where nurturing exists.

As a woman, only a man who is sensitive, secure and centered is capable of moving me and loving me; for he is no longer trapped in his mind-made self, but lives by the truth of his rebellion.

As a woman, the man who chooses to be by my side, chooses to see me for who I am at this moment regardless of my past; for he understands that due to my , I experiences I have crossed his path and captured his curiosity.

As a woman, I seek a man who is willing to enjoy each present moment we share as if it was our last, for we all parish sooner or later, and living in the traps of time destroys all the beauty, magic, romance and truth that can exist between man and woman.

As a woman, I desire a man who will stand by me and my children in loving support and with a helping hand; a man who will encounter adversity with an open mind and a willing heart.

As a woman, I search for a man who understands we are both beyond our titles, our degrees, our bank accounts, our concepts and beliefs. I search for a man who will above all love my only permanent attributes, my soul, my being.

As a woman, I await not for a man to make me happy, but rather a man who finds happiness by my side, a man whom can love freely and without fear of being outside the illusions of an image.

As a woman, I look for spiritual wholeness along side a man who is not afraid of accepting his or mine mortal imperfections, for he sees beyond our limitations, embracing our true potential.

As a woman, I search for a man who will hold my hand whether in celebration or in loss; whether in love, or in pain; whether in youth or old age; now and in the end.

And as a woman, I know this man will recognize my spirit and my soul will receive his…

I'm not as cynically disillusioned as Dear Pheon', but he's correct, please read my Some Women, I would feel your vibrations on it.

Very beautifully put, if only such a man or woman existed, we come close, all of us, yet fall short, not because of who we are , but how society views and has molded us, what we want is what you wrote. and you wrote it from the heart..

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
