Blinded By The Life
I was blinded by the life
So my mind was not my own
I saw a demon come to light
With the ending that she chose
I couldn’t see the warnings
That were written everywhere
I only saw her beautiful face
That looked as though she cared
I had dreamt of a future
Bright and clear in front of us
Now all I see are broken dreams
And someone I cant trust
I would have loved you forever
But your love cuts like a knife
I didn’t see how you never cared
Because I was blinded by the life
You continue to go on living
I know that in time I’ll be fine
The day will come that you’ll look back
Then wish you still had this love of mine
