    Better Off In The End
    A battle rages
    Turmoil runs rampant
    My heart knows what it wants
    My mind knows it cant have it
    Kind and vicious memories
    To which ones do I cling
    You pick me up to watch me fall
    My love never meant a thing
    Between my heart and my mind
    This fight goes on and on
    It will soon be known for certain
    Which is weak and which is strong
    This eternal crusade of war
    Relentless in it’s quest
    My heart says it’s worth fighting for
    My mind says to put it to rest
    My heart knows deep inside
    That this time my mind is right
    My mind knows that my heart
    Could have easily won this fight
    Finally the war is over inside
    It’s time for me to mend
    It took so long to get over you
    But I’ll be better off in the end
