    Poem Commentary

We are here to help one another, not to just take care of ourselves. No selfishness is needed

    Burden bearers

    Burden Bearers

Sometimes we bear the burdens of others

Of loved ones and our sisters and brothers

The need is there as we can see

We do what we can, no matter what it may be

Our hearts are filled with Gods love

So we keep our precious thoughts on Him above

Knowing that He is there and not alone

For His son is seated at the right of His throne

    Mediating, Interceding, whatever the task

Knowing if it’s promised in His Fathers word, all we have to do is ask

God is rich in mercy and grace

Oh I can’t wait to see him face to face

His son that is for God is invisible

But I know that God is faithful and also able

To call us home when the time is right

But once we are gone, so is the light

So while we are here let’s do our utmost

To help each other out, and please don’t boast

Because we were given something none of us deserve

For we were born to live, and born again to serve

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
