Creature of the night2

Creature of the night2

Our love is still strong
Eric and I
We love each other
None loves us
We love each other
That's all the matters
We are creatures of the night

I stopped by mother's house
She looked worried
I hug her
I see father
He has a shotgun
He aims it behind me
Mom pulls me
Dad fires
Eric grabs me
I lunge for dad
My parents scream
I go in my room
Sister is there
She lunges and hugs me
Eric comes in
Sister runs for window
Eric grabs her
He pins her to the floor
I turn
I do not want to see
I hear no scream
I turn again
They are face to face
My sister is vampire
They both look angry
I jump in between them
My sister speaks
"I am Lumusia"

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
