    This is one of my hidden meanings poems. I hope you like it!

    Lock Me Away

     Why did you lock me away?
    Leave me upon dismay?
      And as I stare into open air
       You put me in a dark despair
        Lock me away; Forever and a day
       Lock away my feelings
      So you won't have to face them?
    Lock away my heart
    So you won't break it?
    Lock away my soul
      So you won't harm it?
       Lock away my spirit
        So you won't crush it?
       Lock away yourself
      So you won't harm me.
    Let me hold your lock
    And you step inside
    Hold my despair
      Let me lock you inside
       Calm yourself
        Don't fear it all
       Let me go
      Let me lock you inside
    So you'll never hurt me
    I'm sorry that I have to do this
      But it's for the best
        Hate me now and forgive me later
       But you know I will always
    Be holding your lock
