You sit down in front of me
pain and hurt fill your face.
You try to hide it from people
it's all to clear to see.
The fear and doubt is all to clear
You fight back all the tears.

Their faces are planted in my mind
Their voices are soft and kind.
Their faces I long to see

For they are strong and brave
to take this on day by day

A calm warmth gathers in you

I now stand at the turning point
I couldn't find and easier softer way;
but, through spiritual progress rather than
