Endless Mile

Endless Mile

I see you just sitting there
just blankly staring.
So much running through your mind
emotions boiling up in you
for a love so pure and true.
I see you look up to Heaven
as for a sign or answer
before glaring at the clock
a quarter to eleven.

Your head falls to your hands
as this was not part of your plans.
Endless waiting seems like forever..
His word is a glimmer of hope
you can't help but slightly smile,
when his face come to mind
in the Endless Mile.

You will see him again soon
as sure as the sun is bright at noon.
His arms come around you
a quick breath does he take
and says that I will be there........
The Endless Mile.
