Deaf Ears

Deaf Ears

Enticing words,

Feels so great.

Piercing words,

A despised trait.

Truth twisted;

Never being free.

Beheld with eyes

Which cannot see.

Self-inflicted doctrines,

Build up an ego.

Pure revelations,

Never to know.

Words of desire,

Not rooted in fact.

Closes on myth;

But never exact.

Penetration is weak,

With craftiness around.

Hardened hearts,

Block out the sound.

Deaf ears fruit

Smothered in fear.

By deceptive words,

Desired to hear.

Not sure about this one myself... I have ears to hear eyes to see... Not saying that He wasn't in this.... Cause He said He is all in all.... We as humans can question everything... He as our creator questions nothing... He knows all made all and knows the hearts ( souls) of all mankind in knowing their true intentions from the inside out.... I do all things out of a complete love wanting nothing in return and never trying to hurt any-one with my words but I fall short cause none of us are perfect or completely up right before Him..... Jesus is Lord Jesus is my God.... so ty for sharing your writting with me..... red

Thanks Red. Hopefully, by the grace of God, we all can hear. This was written for those who can't. The bible said, if the word is hidden it is hidden in those who are lost. Jesus spoke many times of those who couldn't see, nor hear although they had no physical problems. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal to each one. The sad fact is too many just can't hear and this one was for them. Thanks a bunch my friend for your many gracious comments. Gary

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
