    • I can say a million words, and you still would never understand

    Dear Colt

Usually I have no problem writing my feelings down.

    This time it’s different,

You’ve got my mind all in a jumble.

I can’t get you out of my head,

    You’re stuck.

I smile, and for the first time it’s legitimate,

I see things differently when I think about you,

I can look at myself, and believe it when you say I’m beautiful.

I can’t help but feel a connection and wonder if you do too.

You’re so amazing in so many ways,

I can’t even put it into words,

I don’t understand why you’ve got me searching for words.

My heartbeat speeds way up when we talk,

    But I’m comfortable.

I’m pretty sure I’m just the slightest bit crazy about you…

It just feels so right, so natural.

Still I can’t find the words to describe it.

I could tell you how I feel,

I don’t think I would have to worry about you running away either,

    And if you did,

I’m almost 100% sure you’d come running back,

    Faster than you ran away,

    But what can I say?

    I’m just a 15 year old girl,

Many say a young heart often falls in love easy,

    But sweetie not me,

Hardship and many many years of pain,

    Has taught this heart,

    This girl that it isn’t

Something to be given so freely,

But when you find something worth giving it too,

Give it, but don’t shove it,

Give it time, let it blossom.

    All those years of suffering,

I have learned to tell a genuine person from someone who

Doesn’t care for something at all,

I think I have found something that cares,

    But the problem is,

    I’m stubborn.

I don’t wanna see me get hurt,

I don’t wanna see you get hurt,

Because in a way that’s what I’m asking for,

    Trouble,

In the end, I think this trouble is just the beginning of something that could be amazing,

Even if I do have to wait,

After all, I’ve been playing the waiting game for many years now,

And I’m strong enough, or at least you make me feel strong enough,

    To keep playing,

     Because you’re worth waiting for,

You’re worth waiting a million years for,

You’re the one I think I’ve been searching for,

I just searched all the wrong places,

Now I’ve found you and there is only one thing holding me back.

It’s not a problem because it will be solved soon,

And I will be able to say this,

    Without freaking out,

    Without being nervous,

    Without dying of embarrassment,

Because you are worth it all,

And if you asked me to,

I would do anything for you,

    Because you are wonderful,

    Perfect,

    Perfect for me.
