DESPAIRE

DESPAIRE

As I sank into the black hole

I can feel it pulling my soul

Consuming my whole world

Never have I felt this numb

Can’t recover from this shock

A rude and painful awakening call

Gone too young

All hopes and dreams foregone

A consummation of my woes

Trying to get out of this limbo

Though the alternative is worst

I longed to come back home

With Love

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
