    IMAGINE

                                                              IMAGINE

    Imagine:

Boy:   You and me, we were walking through the jungle

And a vicious lion appears, with hunger in its eyes

I’ll lay my life to protect you my love

I’ll look into its eyes and declare my love for you

Girl:   Do you think that I will stand there and watch you die?

Then my love, you must be insane.

I will kneel in front of the beast and beg it to kill me first

Because even death cannot take you away from me, my love

    Imagine:

Boy:   You and me, we were trying to climb a mountain

So high, its head is in the clouds,

It’s not easy, but was love ever?

For your love baby, no obstacle is too great.

Girl:   Don’t worry baby, I am right here, by your side

I feel your pain. And I’ll be with you all the way,

Guiding you and supporting your weight

For your love baby, I’ll climb the highest mountain.

    Imagine

Boy:   A love so great, that no force on earth can break it,

No religion, culture, status or difficulty can come between us

Waking up in the arms of the one you love,

Looking in there eyes and thinking

How lucky you are and the world seems right, in everyway.

Girl:   A love that can stand the test of time.

Forever, in the arms of your lover.

    With love

loving the style and creativity of this poem. the world can always use a good love poem. good work!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
