Disenchanted

My beloved where has all the love gone? Has cupids harp lost it's song, his arrows which once pierced hearts so deep have they lost their potency and now they're weak, or the goddess Venus has she not seen us, or is she to ignoring the fact that there's love between us?


Has the love we shared lost it's flare, so much so that the Gods don't care, or is our love so beautiful and so rare the Gods only watch what they would not share, love that's blinding like a solar flare and hides the fact that my beloved's not there.


It's as if my heart the Gods enchanted, to keep your love my wish they granted, but the spell they cast has been lifted and my new reality it's not as gifted, cause now I realize that I'm alone and I wonder where my beloved has gone.
