    Nothing To Lose

Nothing to lose, I don't cry the blues I pick and I choose I've gone beyond the rules they beg me to come back, but I refuse and if you ask me why, I'd say I paid my dues.

Living life on the edge I've got no excuse, to pretend I was a god and that my name is Zeus. Put two aces together and you form a deuce, but I walk alone like a known recluse. Hold on tight cause I might let loose and formulate my words to reproduce, self proclaimed chemicals I will introduce to the cerebral cortex of the mind I will induce see life as I see it as I bring adduce, but you might be confused because my lifes abstruce to me one word describes it and that words abuse if life was a person I'd have to call a truce.

My words speak truth and are not meant to confuse, like breath taking events on the eleven o clock news. If im willing to take my life when I'm kicked and abused, can it be taken away from me when I pick and I choose? I'll ponder this thought as I rest and I snooze, but it really doesn't matter if you've got nothing to lose.
