    Poem Commentary

a coffee so good, It inspired me to write!

    Ethiopian Harrar

    A warm caress.

On the tip of my tongue

    A sweet embrace.

That reminds me of a time

    Long. Ago.

                Hakuna matata

    Says this cup.

                Soothing Whispers

    Of encouragement.

                Everything is fine.

    Steaming sweet nothings

                Onto my taste buds.

    Thankyou

                Ethiopian Harrar.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
