fire place

The sun is almost up, you know
It'll be white soon
I'm missing you more than I should
because I know I have to leave you again
But everyone knows it never went away
They are not fools
and I am sure you are not fooled
I was yours from the second I laid eyes on you
You'll keep me. You will.
I've been here with you
before
This place - this feeling
This question - this weight
And all I want to do is call you baby
Our time again
                                       ...resurfacing...
The secret is out
but everything will sleep again soon
Lay your burdens down
and come dream with me
It's cold
out there
stay
here
We'll make our own heat
There's a fire in me
and you are made of only wood now
You'll appease me
and let me talk and talk
when all you want
is my mouth
on you
After I have said it all
I'll climb up your tree
And I will let you take a swim
in my
ocean
