FORSAKEN INNOCENCE

Innocence will never realize how each memory I have destroys me inside. Innocence will never be able to realize why I shed each tear, and why I can't have the strength to overlook each lost memory. They feel like daggers stabbing at my weakened heart, which is taking my life away from me each time. I need to overlook this strength, but all I feel is my pain. When will these shackles release me from this innocence I have no more. Much too often I shout out for a cry for help or even comfort. I just need this balance to release me from this pain I endure on a daily basis. This forsaken innocence has burdened me with just knowing once again I am lost in this distorted place. My silence is the answer, or I know I am too scared to actually feeling important and the truth behind life's memories...
