    From

    From out of the place
    Where dreams were only whispered
    Formed in the heart,
    Like life’s deepest scriptures
    Changing forever
    The course of a soul
    With wonder and stunning,
    Your love came to hold
    Rewriting what’s known,
    Expanding the mind
    Struck with such lightning,
    There was no time!
    No time to be careful,
    No time to think
    From nothing to taken,
    In time, just a blink.
    I still seek a reason,
    A sin I forgot?
    Something I did,
    Or maybe did not?
    There should have been thunder
    And caroling bells
    Something to warn me,
    You came straight from hell.

That's pretty good, it sounds like falling in lust, which is sometimes confused with love. Then later true colors are revealed then everything goes awry. We've all been there, done that! :-) Good writing.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
