    Holy Reverence

    Cold foggy air lays low
    When twelve apostles
    Hand their heads down
    With bending hands
    Over the last supper table
    Crucified Jesus overhead
    With arms wide open
    On the beautiful morning
    Of his death.
    Resurrection takes place
    Weeks later. He is born
    Again to teach the world
    Peace, love, harmony
    Once more.

Wow, that's lovely! I so like the idea of superimposing the last supper against Jesus on the cross. Do you mean "Hang their heads down" on line 3? And what do you mean by 'bending hands?' (line 4) Also, line 1 and the 'beautiful morning' thing seems to conflict. Maybe his death and foretold resurrection is beautiful...Good work.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
