    One Less Disgrace

Little brother, when you get into trouble
I am still the hated one.
    Why is that so?
I am the oldest and can take more pain.
What a lie they have been living.

My parents see me as a the black sheep and a waste of good 9 months
and my brother sees me as something in his way needing to be
    removed.
    My cousins and grandmother
see me as disgrace and should have never been born.
I have tried to succeed in everything I do.
Yet, no one does see my feits and accomplishments.

If I fell off the face of the Earth,
    Would anyone notice?
Sure, they would notice one less
Black sheep failure to deal with
    and one less disgrace.

You sound so sad. Please make your own path.....xoxoxoxo

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
