    I Am Not A Toy

    You pick me up.
    You throw me down.

    You bring me back.
You hang me from a rope.

I am a toy to you.
Thats all you see me as.

You play with my heart and mind.
    Like it was new again.
Then you put me back on the shelf.
Unless theres nothing else to play with.
    Then I become new again.

    I am not a toy.
    I will never be again.
No more using me for your own pleasure.

    I am human.
I have a heart, soul, and a mind.

Not a toy you can play with.
    I am not your toy.

    You go your way,
    and I will go mine.

I am not a toy you can play with.

Until we find the strength within to value ourselves, we are all in our own ways vulnerable to being used for another's selfish gain. Don't waste your precious being trying to prove you're lovable to someone who can't , or won't love and cherish you in return. Nice poem about being your own champion...*JJ

Don't let him play, unless you like that kind of thing. Sometimes it's so hard but do your thing. I like this one too.

Stand up verses from a stand up lady! I love it!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
