    Poem Commentary

    I originally wrote this as a song before she passed away.  I wanted my brothers, sister and I to create music behind it and a friend of mine was going to sing it for her on Mother's Day.  She passed away before I was able to do so. I shortened it to a poem later on.

    I Apologize
    I apologize for all the hurtfull words I've spoken
    I apologize for all promises that I may have broken
    For all the misery I led you to
    For all the pain I put you through
    I apologize for all the things I never did
    I apologize for all the wrong things I've said
    For all the things I should've done to help you
    For all the embarressment that I put you through
    I apologize for all the things I made you buy
    I apologize for all the times I made you cry
    For all the times you wished to disappear
    For all the times that I wasn't there
    I apologize for all the nasty remarks I've replied
    I apologize for all the many times I've lied
    For all the sleepless nights
    For all the stupid fights

    Ok, I don't cry easily but this poem has me tearing up a bit. Such wonderful emotion packed into every line. I absolutely love it.
