    I Don't Hear The Music

    When we met
Every smile was a symphony to my heart
Every word you spoke A harmony of parts
And we sang with the music
And we danced with the music

    When we loved
Every kiss was a hungry melody
Every touch Was a chord only you could play on me
And we sang with the music
And we danced with the music

    And at last
In the beat and tempo of the ending
Our hearts wrote songs We never were intending
And we sang with the music
And we danced with the music

But I don't hear the music anymore
We tried to find a melody
To mean what it did before
But I don't hear the music anymore
    I don't hear the music
    Anymore

Neat. Unique way of expressing lost love.

Very nice! I love metaphor and you use it well.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
