    I Still Need You Daddy‏

     When I was young i needed you so much daddy. You would hold me in your arms close where i always felt safe. I always felt the love and tenderness, keeping me safe from harm. You were always there for me, when i fell and scraped my knees, or just awoke from a bad dream. Whenever i looked up into your eyes, and i could see your love for me. You are always there to help pick up the pieces when my life falls apart. Even though i am now grown up, i still need you daddy, as always you are still there for me. How did I get so lucky to have a daddy like you, you were the daddy chosen for me. There is something so special about a father's love. Seems it was sent to me from heaven above. Our love is everlasting, I just wanted you to know, that you are my special hero and I love you daddy.

    I think I read this before. It is still beautiful, a wonderful memory of your father. Some of us had very good fathers just like this. I consider myself so blessed to have had one and your poem just evokes those feelings for a lot of us. keep them coming.
